The challenge
For the launch of her new book series "Das Vermächtnis des Dämonenthrons", Michelle Luisa Fischer wanted to restage her website. The previous presence was atmospheric, but it was meant to pay off more strongly on the new series, make the romantasy world more emotionally tangible and guide readers more deliberately towards the book.
The solution
We completely redesigned the website – with warmer, cinematic imagery that captures the world of the new book:
- Book-centric homepage with an evocative portal motif, the series title "Das Vermächtnis des Dämonenthrons", the book tagline "Manche Wünsche schickt man besser nicht ab" and a clear "To the book" call to action
- New "Worlds" section in the navigation that stages the author's romantasy universes as their own immersive spaces
- Warmer colour and lighting mood (amber, twilight) instead of the cooler previous look – matching the tone of the new book
- Still built on Next.js: fast load times, optimised images and a clean, search-engine-friendly, mobile-optimised structure
The result
- A distinctive, cinematic presence centred on the new book
- Clear reader guidance from first impression to the "To the book" click
- A more emotional brand world that conveys the romantasy atmosphere
- An extensible foundation for staging future books and worlds
