2. Data processing when using our contact form
Purpose of processing:
When you contact us via the contact form, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, message) in order to handle your enquiry.
Legal basis:
Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures).
Storage duration:
Your data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of its processing.
Disclosure:
The data from the contact form is not passed on to third parties.
Recording the source of your enquiry (lead source):
When you submit the contact form, we record and store, together with your enquiry, information about how you arrived at our website. This includes – where available – campaign parameters of the address accessed (so-called UTM parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign), click identifiers from advertisements (e.g. gclid from Google Ads, fbclid from Meta/Facebook), the previously visited website (referrer) as well as the first page of our website you accessed.
This information is held only temporarily in your browser's memory (sessionStorage) during your current website visit and is only transmitted to us when you actually submit the contact form. No permanent cookie is set for marketing purposes for this.
Purpose:
We want to be able to understand through which channel (e.g. search engine, advertisement or referral) your enquiry reached us, in order to correctly attribute enquiries and to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of our advertising measures.
Legal basis:
Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (handling your enquiry) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in evaluating the effectiveness of our advertising). The source data is stored together with your enquiry in our CRM system (Odoo).
3. Use of Google Analytics
Purpose of processing:
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to analyse and improve the use of our website.

Legal basis:
Processing is carried out on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
How it works:
Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of the use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored by Google on a server in the USA.
IP anonymisation:
We have activated IP anonymisation. Your IP address is truncated by Google within the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission.
Objection to data collection:
You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by downloading and installing the following browser add-on:

Storage duration:
Data linked to cookies or user identifiers is automatically deleted after 14 months.
4. Web analytics with PostHog
Purpose of processing:
We use PostHog, a web analytics tool, to statistically evaluate the use of our website and to improve our offering.
Provider:
PostHog, Inc., 965 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. Data processing for our website takes place via the provider's EU infrastructure on servers within the European Union (EU hosting).
Legal basis:
Processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. PostHog is only loaded after you have consented to analytics via our cookie notice.
How it works and scope:
PostHog records information such as pages accessed, clicks and interactions, the approximate location (derived from the truncated IP address) as well as the browser and device type used. When you submit an enquiry via our contact form, an event is recorded together with the source of the enquiry (lead source) in order to evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising. No recording of your session (session recording) takes place.
Storage duration:
The recorded data is only stored for as long as is necessary for the analysis purposes.
Withdrawal:
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings. After that, no further analytics data will be collected by PostHog.
5. Cookies
Purpose of processing:
Our website uses cookies to improve usability and to analyse usage.
Legal basis:
For technically necessary cookies, processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). For all other cookies, we obtain your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

6. Disclosure of data to third parties
Google:
As part of Google Analytics, data may be transmitted to the USA. Google is bound by the EU standard contractual clauses.
PostHog:
The data collected as part of web analytics is processed on servers within the European Union.
Odoo (CRM):
Enquiries from the contact form, including the source data (lead source), are stored in our CRM system Odoo and processed under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Otherwise, we do not pass on your data to third parties without your express consent, unless this is required by law.
7. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy in order to adapt it to changed legal situations or new technologies.
